Phil Bryant expects "sweeping change" in Nov.

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - Lt. Governor Phil Bryant told conservative voters in Jones County Saturday afternoon he expects a "sweeping change" in the nation come Nov. 2nd. Bryant spoke to the first "Patriot Fest" hosted by the Mississippi 912 Reclaimers at the YWCO on Oak Street.

Bryant says Republicans have the momentum going into the upcoming national election and believes Democrats aren't that excited.

"Never before have I seen Republicans and conservatives be so energized," Bryant said. "They talk about walking over broken glass to get to the polls and I think they'll do that."

The Lt. Governor also spoke about his agenda for next year's legislative session.
