Miss. National Guard investigates data leaks

The Mississippi National Guard is investigating the extent of a security breach after more than 3000 active members personnel records were posted online for several weeks.

Administrative records belonging to members of the 155th brigade combat team, including dates of birth, security clearance data, ranks, pay grades, and social security numbers were somehow posted online. The website is no longer accessible.

The 155th trained at Camp Shelby near Hattiesburg before being deployed to Iraq. The records were compiled between 2006 and 2008 during a time the brigade was overseas.
