HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Freckles is the Wdam/Southern Pines Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week.
Freckles is a one year old female. She is playful and loves to run around. She would be better suited for a family with older children and no other pets in the home.
She has already been spayed, worm tested, and micro chipped for permanent identification. She also has her first shots.
Right now the Southern Pines is running a special on adoption costs. All animals over four years old or those that have been at the shelter are half price at $35. Also all puppies and kittens can be adopted for two for the price of one or $75.
The shelter has recently expanded their hours. They are now open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday, 10:00am to 3:00pm, and Saturday, 10:00am to 2:00pm. They are located at 1901 North 31st Avenue in Hattiesburg, right behind Antonelli College.
