HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -Eight week old Angel is the Pet of the Week at the Southern Pines Animal Shelter.

Angel is a female husky mix breed. She will grow to be a big dog, weighing about 50 pounds. She is very friendly, playful, and affectionate. She is sure to be a great family pet.

Cost for their adoption is $75. This includes them being spayed or neutered. They have their first shots and have been wormed. They also have been micro chipped for permanent identification.

The shelter has recently expanded their hours. They are now open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday, 10:00am to 3:00pm, and Saturday, 10:00am to 2:00pm. They are located at 1901 North 31st Avenue in Hattiesburg, right behind Antonelli College.
