LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - The man accused in a shooting in Laurel a couple of weeks ago is on his way back to town to face justice.

Kenneth Dean, 20 years old, is back behind bars. Officers said they received a tip that Dean fled to a home in Columbus, Ohio where he was later arrested Monday night by Columbus authorities.

Dean is accused of shooting another man five times earlier this month at the corner of 14th Avenue and Roberts street.  The victim survived.

Officers say Dean is expected to be back in Laurel later this week.
