SUMRALL, MS (WDAM) - A Columbia woman is dead and four others hospitalized following a two vehicle accident in Sumrall Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Mill Creek Loop.
Twenty eight year old Michelle Gatlin was pronounced dead at the scene. Three children under the age of six who were riding in the backseat of Gatlin's vehicle were injured. Two were airlifted to University Medical Center in Jackson. The third child was taken to Forrest General Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The unidentified driver of the second vehicle was also taken to Forrest General. His injuries are also unknown.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are on scene of a shooting at the Sanderson Farm plant in Collins where one person was shot.
