WCU dedicates Phase II medical building

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Students, faculty and administrators at William Carey University gathered this morning to officially dedicate the second of three new buildings in their medical school complex. A ribbon was cut to mark the official opening of the Medical Arts Building.

It's the 2nd phase of the complex that houses the new School of Osteopathic Medicine.

The building has various offices and labs.

Classes at the school began on Monday.
