ELLISVILLE, MS (JONES COUNTY JUNIOR COLLEGE) - Jones County Junior College's Workforce Development is offering ServSafe Certification training each month. Federal and state requirements for food handlers specify that anyone serving prepared food to the public must be certified. The ServSafe training at JCJC prepares the student for the certification and exam, which is administered on the final day.
The next class will be held, Monday, September, 20 through Friday, September 24, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Ronald E. Whitehead Advanced Technology Center in the Howard Technology Park, Ellisville.
JCJC Workforce Development has established a reputation as a leader in ServSafe certification training with an outstanding success rate. The cost of the course is $125.00. Payment must be made and books picked up one week prior to class and read before attending class to be able to keep pace with the class presentation.
