HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Greene County Supervisor Earnest Holder was back in federal court Wednesday morning where he's on trial for Katrina fraud.

He's charged with receiving cash kickbacks through at least one company the county contracted with for debris removal following the storm. During Wednesday's testimony, a witness, who owns Mid-South Pipe Company testified he paid Holder $1 per cubic yard of debris removed from his beat.

Prosecutors pointed out the math adds up to just more than $100,000. The same witness testified he got the contract with the county because he agreed to "scratch the backs" of two county supervisors, the other being Lee Lambert.

Holder is also charged with not reporting the money to the IRS.
