HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Despite a report from The Associated Press Tuesday in which unnamed sources claimed quarterback Brett Favre would retire, he is practicing at Oak Grove High School today.
Favre said he hasn't made any decision and will play if healthy. He also said money is not an issue.
His agent, Bus Cook, said Favre has a meeting with his doctor next week who is treating his sore ankle. Favre said he may know more about his future after that meeting.
Vikings coach Brad Childress told reporters Tuesday that Favre had not made an official announcement nor told him anything in private.
Meanwhile, national media has descended once again on Hattiesburg and can be seen at Favre's estate.
WDAM's Heather Cook is interviewing Favre today at Oak Grove.
