WALTHALL COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - The hunt is over for a Walthall County inmate who escaped for a second time last week.
Authorities say Dustin Broussard is back in custody after getting away from jailers while he was being returned from an escape in April. A McComb police officer helped make the arrest Thursday afternoon.
Broussard was previously in custody for breaking probation after his third DUI and arson convictions.
He first traveled to Mexico where he was caught, but again escaped in Walthall County as the final handcuff was being taken off of him.
Broussard's wife Alyshia remains in jail charged with aiding and abetting his first escape.
