HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A private, non-profit organization which helps emotionally and behaviorally troubled children in our area is extending its outreach to those in need. Today, Youth Villages and the Area Development Partnership hosted a ribbon-cutting to announce a new, therapeutic foster care program offered in South Mississippi.
For several years in Hattiesburg, Youth Villages has provided intensive in-home counseling and a transitional living program. The organization was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 1986.
