Blaze damages mini-warehouse facility

JONES COUNTY (WDAM) - An early-morning fire at a Jones County mini-warehouse building destroyed several storage units and thousands of dollars worth of contents. It happened at a facility on Indian Springs Road.

Fire officials say a blaze around 1:45 a.m. destroyed 17 storage units and damaged another 9. They says many of the units were full of furniture, clothing and personal effects.

No one was injured.

Firefighters from 7 different city and county departments fought the fire.

Investigators say the cause has not been determined, but it has been deemed suspicious.
