LIBERTY, Miss. (AP) - A Smithdale man has been indicted on a charge of negligent vehicular homicide in the Aug. 11, 2009, death of a Fernwood woman.
Prosecutors say Tyler Cunningham is charged in the death of Susan Haskins, a student at the University of Mississippi. Haskins was a passenger in Cunningham's pickup truck when it ran off a bridge in rural Amite County.
The Enterprise-Journal reports Cunningham was arraigned on the charge Wednesday in Amite County Circuit Court. Circuit Judge Forrest A.

The Jones County Sheriff's Department arrested two suspects after a second church in the area was burglarized on Monday morning. Surveillance footage of the Indian Springs Baptist Church showed a white male and white female break into the church and steal an undetermined amount of cash.
