LUMBERTON, MS. (WDAM) - The Gold Coast Skydivers are holding a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project Saturday and Sunday, June 19th and 20th.
The event will take place at the I.H. Bass Memorial Airport on Highway 13 from 9:00 a-m to sunset each day.
The weekend will begin with opening ceremonies which will consist of a military honor guard and blessing of the weekend. Lumberton Mayor Miriam Holder will have opening remarks.
Rides with the pilot in the co-pilot seat can be made for $23.00.
All proceeds from the two day event will go to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project gives aid to service men and women who have been severely wounded in combat.
