By Jeff Daley – email

HATTIESBURG, MS. (WDAM) - The Southern Pines Animal Shelters pets of week are two cuddly ten week old female mix breed puppies named Sophie and Anna.

Both are very playful and have great dispositions.  They will grow into small to medium size dogs.  They should be great with other pets and small children.

Cost for adoption is $75.00.  They have already been spayed and worm tested.  They have their first shots and have been micro chipped for permanent identification.

As of this week all the pets that have been featured on the pet of the week have been adopted including Yogi, the adorable Chihuahua featured last week.  With-in two hours of appearing on WDAM Midday last Friday Yogi had his new forever home.

Southern Pines Animal Shelter is open from 10 to 5 Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; 10-3 on Tuesdays, and 10-12 on Saturdays.  The Shelter is located at 1901 N. 31 Ave. behind Antonelli College on Hwy 49 N.  You can reach the Shelter at 601-544-6632 or visit us on the Web at SouthernPinesAnimalShelter.org
