Two Waynesboro men say they are walking for Jesus

WAYNESBORO, MS (WDAM) - Two men from different walks of life are on a journey to spread God's word.

Benjamin Williams, 17 and Richard Dix, 63 of Waynesboro are walking to Jackson carrying a cross. The two hope to spread the message of Jesus.

Williams walked to Hattiesburg in 2009.

    Hattiesburg Police said a man who was shot in an apartment Monday afternoon is now sedated in the Intensive Care Unit at Forrest General Hospital.

    Hattiesburg police continue to investigate after dozens of rounds were fired at the Bonhomie Apartment complex Monday afternoon. Police are now saying they believe the shooting is gang related.
