Missing Covington Co. teen found safe

COVINGTON COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Kendric Agee, 19, who went missing last Sunday morning, has been found safe.

A motorist spotted Agee on a bridge near his home shortly before 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Covington County Sheriff Ben Ford said Agee was hiding in the woods and would not come out because he was scared.

Agee's mother, Stephanie Owens, said Kendric was covered in mud when he came home.  She said he was in good health, but was thirsty and hungry.

Sheriff Ford said he will speak with Kendric Wednesday about what happened.
