Drug Court hosts graduation ceremony

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Nearly one dozen people who have been battling drug or alcohol addictions are the most recent graduates of the Forrest/Perry County Adult Drug Court. In a ceremony today, the graduates were recognized by family, friends and members of the 12th Judicial District for completing a 3-year program of treatment and rehabilitation.

Drug Court is an alternative for non-violent offenders that's in its 6th year in Forrest and Perry counties.

Earlier this month, the 12th Judicial District Drug Court was named the best in Mississippi.
