HATTIESBURG, MS. (WDAM) - The Southern Pines Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week is a 10 week old male puppy that is thought to be a lab mix breed.
Rock is his name. He is extremely playful, loves toys, and should be great with children and other pets. He will probably grow into a fairly large dog so he will probably need a large yard to play in.
Cost for adoption is $75.00 for puppies and kittens. Older dogs and cats are $70.00. The adoption fee covers the pet being spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, first vaccinations, and micro chipped for easy identification.
Southern Pines Animal Shelter is open from 10 to 5 Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; 10-3 on Tuesdays, and 10-12 on Saturdays. The Shelter is located at 1901 N. 31 Ave. behind Antonelli College on Hwy 49 N. You can reach the Shelter at 601-544-6632 or visit us on the Web at SouthernPinesAnimalShelter.org
