WDAM adds new features to Android app

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - WDAM has added two new animated weather radar maps to their Android and iPhone applications.

Lots of people in the Pine Belt have Android phones like the HTC Hero and the Motorola Droid - and now they can get a free application to get live, local news, weather and sports on the go.

It is not always possible to be in front of the TV or your computer, but with your cell phone and the new WDAM Android app, the news can go with you. The app is free and gives users access to WDAM 24 hours a day.

You can use you the barcode scanner on your phone to download the app by scanning the box on the right, or you can search for WDAM in the Android market from your phone.

You can also click here to find the app at www.AndroidZoom.com - just search for WDAM once you go there.

If you have an iPhone or a Blackberry, you can still get an app.

iPhone users should search the App Store for WDAM, and Blackberry users should visit www.wdamtogo.com on their phone and click on the option to download the app.
