HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hattiesburg Police are searching the neighborhoods on south 28th Avenue for a lone gunman who robbed The First on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m. near south 18th and Lincoln Road a white male describes as being in his 50s, wearing a plaid shirt and khaki pants robbed the bank.
It is believed he fled on foot headed south on 28th Avenue carrying a black bag and a silver and black handgun.
No one was injured in the holdup, and it is not known how much money was taken.
