HATTIESBURG, MS. (WDAM) - The Southern Pines Animal Shelter in Hattiesburg is holding a brainstorming session Tuesday evening on how to increase the number of adoptions and return of lost pets to owners.
The shelter is one of 50 across the country who have been selected as a finalist in the ASPCA $100K challenge. During the months of August, September, and October the shelter is looking to increase the number of adoptions over the same period last year by at least 300.
The brainstorming session will be held at the Keg and Barrel located at 1315 Hardy Street in Hattiesburg starting at 5:00 p.m.
