Perry County man charged with wife's murder

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Perry County man has been arrested for the shooting death of his wife.

Rocky Jermaine Lewis, 29, is being held in the Perry County Jail. He is charged with murder. 

Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith said the shooting happened Thursday just before midnight at the Pine Estates apartments in New Augusta.  Lewis's wife Kimberly Wilson – Lewis, 27, suffered a fatal gunshot to the neck. 

Sheriff Smith said the shooting was the result from a domestic dispute.
