HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - William Carey University and Barnes and Noble College Booksellers have teamed up to offer textbooks for rent to William Carey students.

The university says it is the first four year institution in the state to join this program. Students will save 50 % or more on each textbook by renting.

The students will sign a rental contract and they can use their university issued financial aid to rent the books.

"They can just buy the book as always and keep it.  They can buy the book and sell it back, or they can rent it," said William Carey president, Tommy King.

William Carey will offer the program starting this fall semester.
