Town Hall meeting addresses burglaries

COLUMBIA, MS (WDAM) - Concerned residents met with Columbia city officials tonight to try and bring an end to a rash of burglaries that have plagued that town in the last few months. Residents at a town hall meeting said they want something done to stop the home and car burglaries that have occurred...mostly in the northeastern part of town.

Police say they are working hard to solve the crimes and they are warning residents to remain cautious.

They also say they are close to making arrests.
