HATTIESBURG, MS (THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI) - The University of Southern Mississippi Police Department is the recipient of an alcohol awareness grant from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety's Division of Public Safety Planning.
In adherence with the grant's guidelines, University Police will conduct several mandated enforcement actions Thursday-Saturday, April 15-17, between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. As part of this effort, officers will conduct sobriety/safety checkpoints on campus and monitor compliance with state law and university policies regarding underage drinking.

After losing the first two games of the season by a combined five points, Collins has won 12 consecutive games to advance to the class 2A South State title.
