Southern Miss rewires old buildings, to hold wire-cutting ceremony

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The University of Southern Mississippi will hold a wire-cutting ceremony marking the completion of the rewiring of the Johnson Science Tower and Chain Technology Center.

The event will be held April 6 at 10 a.m. at the entrance of the Chain Technology Center on the USM campus.

This initiative was funded by a grant awarded to Southern Miss in 2007 from the U.S. Department of Education through the Hurricane Education Recovery Awards.

The project will also provides more bandwidth to computer users.
