HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney was in the pinebelt on Tuesday talking about healthcare.

Chaney spoke to about a dozen Forrest-Lamar Republican Women at Ryan's in Hattiesburg.

Chaney said the recent healthcare bill doesn't sit well with him. "The majority of the stuff in the bill is not good for the state," said Chaney. Chaney also said it leaves the elderly and those on medicaid out in the cold and hurts small businesses.
