LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Citizen's Bank invites Pine Belt children and their parents to attend the bank's fire awareness day on March 26.

Representatives of the Forrest County, Lamar County and Hattiesburg Fire Departments will be on hand to visit with kids and their parents about fire safety and fire prevention.

Representatives of the South Central MS Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Mississippi Fire Marshall's Office will also be on site to share fire safety information.

All the fun will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bank's West Hattiesburg Branch which is located 6258 U.S. Highway 98, next to Petro Automotive.

Nathan Shows, Manager of Citizens National Bank in West Hattiesburg said, "We know people's lives are busy, and fire safety is not always at the forefront of their minds. If we can get people thinking about fire safety, we hope it will lead to lives being saved. Our Bank wants to help in any way we can to help the people in our community to be prepared."
