HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A drug raid in Hattiesburg has landed several suspected drug dealers behind bars and taken several dozen firearms and a cache of drugs off the street.

Hattiesburg police along with Metro Narcotics agents arrested Marves Fairley, 24, and Fredrick Booth, 29, both of Bassfield, along with Kevin Taylor, 27, and Shalonda Hill, both of Hattiesburg.

All four are accused of drug trafficking.

Hattiesburg Police Public Spokesman Synarus Green said the four were under surveillance for more than 6 months.

During the raid, police confiscated nearly 50 pounds of marijuana, several firearms, and more than a $100,000 in cash.

Hattiesburg police said this investigation is still ongoing and other arrests, and charges are pending.
