Teen's death being investigated

FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Forrest County officials are investigating the death of a teenager who was taken to a hospital Tuesday night.

Coroner Butch Benedict said Robert Matthew Greenwood, 17, of Rawls Springs died shortly after 7 p.m. 

An autopsy will confirm the cause of death.

The coroner said Greenwood was taken by ambulance from 123 Old Rawls Springs Road.

Sheriff's deputies and crime scene investigators were in that area tonight, but they would not release any details about the investigation.
