Laurel receives $1.3 million to make Katrina repairs

LAUREL, MS (WDAM)- The city of Laurel held a board-cutting ceremony on Tuesday to kick off of the revitalization of water plant number one.  

The plant was damaged heavy during Hurricane Katrina.

The city received $1.3 million to rebuild the facility from the Katrina Go Zone Grant.
