LONG BEACH, MS (WDAM) - Long Beach Police said a man who robbed the Keesler Federal Credit Union Friday could be from the Hattiesburg area.
The robbery happened around 4:30 p.m. at the branch located at 113 North Cleveland Avenue.
He was caught on camera as he handed a teller a note demanding money. Police said the suspect was on his cell phone during the robbery. He escaped on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 250 to 270 pounds. He is believed to be between 30 to 40 years of age.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a light-colored Southern Miss Golden Eagles ball cap. He also had on glasses with brown tinted lenses, and a yellow polo shirt.
