Meth lab discovered in Hattiesburg apartment complex

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM)- Three people, including a mother and daughter were arrested Tuesday for running a meth lab at a Hattiesburg Apartment complex.

During a routine check, a maintenance man at the Westover Apartment Complex discovered materials to manufacture crystal meth. Sherill Burns, 47, was inside the apartment when police arrived.

Burns was taken into custody, and his assault rifle was confiscated. After questioning Burns, officers learned her daughter, Lisa Burns, 21, and Thomas Bradley, 24, were also involved.

All three are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of precursors.

Bradley faces additional charges of possesion of a controlled substance while in possesion of a fire arm.
