Famed evangelist bishop T.D. Jakes is in Hattiesburg participating in the Fresh Oil Leadership Conference.

Bishop Jakes said many people are migrating from the north back to the south. He said the Pine Belt area is growing rapidly. Jakes said leadership is critical to any community especially when growth is taking place. He said every great leader must position their employees and volunteers for success. Bishop Jakes and Bishop Noel Jones will be speaking to pastors, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and anyone who wants to help take Hattiesburg and surrounding areas to another level.

Bishop Jakes said "I will be preaching Friday night. I'll be wearing that hat on Friday night with Bishop Noel Jones. And on Saturday morning he'll be preaching as well at U.S.M. But this conference is going to be Saturday at 8 A.M. Conference you have register for but the preaching is open to the public anybody and everybody is welcome to the service. But for this exclusive number of people who really want to know what goes on behind the scene, so many people see what goes on on the television, but they don't see the work that goes on behind the television. And I want to share somethings that will help them discover their gifts and resources.
