Tuesday's Wheel of Justice

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A South Mississippi man out on bond for a Hattiesburg murder was arrested today as part of the Picayune Police Departments newly created Wheel of Justice program.

Every Tuesday at noon at the Picayune Kiwanis Club meeting, the police department plans to spin a wheel that contains pictures of suspects wanted on drug charges in that area. Today's first spin landed on Dewayne Bester, a Picayune man out on bond for the June 2008 shooting death of 22 year old Larry Blakely of Hattiesburg. Since making bond, a warrant was issued for bester, charging him withsale of crack cocaine within 1500 yards of a church.

Bester was arrested within an hour of the first spin today.
