COPY-Miss. up to 260 confirmed cases of swine flu

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Department of Health says the state's total number of swine flu cases is 260.

Health officials on Monday reported 26 new cases.

Since MSDH began testing for H1N1 swine flu, cases have been reported in Harrison (35), Winston (27), Jackson (22), Lamar (17), Forrest (15), Hinds (12), Madison (11), Rankin (10), Lowndes (7), Coahoma (6), DeSoto (6), Lauderdale (6), Greene (4), Jones (4), Lincoln (4), Monroe (4), Neshoba (4), Oktibbeha (4), Panola (4), Warren (4), Chickasaw (3), Covington (3), George (3), Holmes (3), Scott (3), Webster (3), Yazoo (3), Alcorn (2), Bolivar (2), Copiah (2), Lafayette (2), Lee (2), Perry (2), Sunflower (2), Tishomingo (2), Walthall (2), Attala (1), Calhoun (1), Choctaw (1), Franklin (1), Hancock (1), Jasper (1), Lawrence (1), Leflore (1), Marion (1), Pearl River (1), Pike (1), Prentiss (1), Simpson (1), Smith (1) and Union (1) counties.

There are no reported deaths in Mississippi.
