Marion County police arrest nine in murder case

MARION COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Marion County authorities have arrested five more people, bringing to total to nine, in association with Tuesday's shooting death.

All nine have been charged with murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Earlier in the week, authorities charged four men in connection with the murder. 

Those arrested: Marcus Foster, 41; Charlie Wiliamson, 21; Cory Sarver, 23; Matthew Baskerville, 18; Charlene Sims, 33; Douglas Hibley, 22; Danny Gales, 16; Burnette Flowers, 21; and Steven Buckley, 21.

Tashodrick Daniels, 25, also known as Shod, was found dead in his house in the Expose community about 2 a.m. Tuesday, the victim of a gunshot wound. Authorities believe the murder was associated with a gambling debt.
