Eagles to welcome fans

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The last game for retiring Southern Miss Head Baseball Coach Corky Palmer will be at the College World Series in Nebraska.

The Golden Eagles rallied on sunday to beat Florida 7-6 to reach the CWS for the first time in the school's history.

Southern Miss will play either Texas or TCU in its opening game.

The Eagles are due back at Pete Taylor Park sometime between 4 and 5 p.m. this afternoon (Monday), and the public is invited.
