Jimmy Fallon, NPR win at 2009 Webby Awards

NEW YORK, NY (WDAM) - Jimmy Fallon has been dubbed person of the year in the 2009 Webby Awards, the annual Oscars of the Internet.

Winners at the 13th annual Webbys included Trent Reznor, Seth MacFarlane and Sarah Silverman along with Web sites like PBS.org, The Onion, Twitter.com, NBC.com and National Public Radio which received seven awards overall.

The awards will be presented on June 8 and will be hosted by Seth Meyers.

The Webbys are presented by the International academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and are chosen by a group of 550 experts in the field.

Each category also features a winner chosen by the public.
