Supreme Court Justice Scalia visits William Carey University

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia made a trip to the Hub City Monday morning drawing the attention of judges elected leaders, students and the general public.

Scalia spoke to a large audience in the Smith Auditorium at William Carey University.

In his hour-long address, Scalia spoke about the importance of the United States Constitution and why all Americans should cherish it as well as understand it.

Scalia says the structure which frames the work is the most important part of this country's government.
