Laurel, Jackson Salvation Army units respond to Magee damage

MAGEE, MISS (WDAM) - The Salvation Army of Laurel and The Salvation Army of Jackson have dispatched mobile feeding support to provide assistance and meals areas affected by Wednesday's storms.

Bill Feist, Emergency Disaster Services Director for The Salvation Army, said “We have two units responding to the area to offer coffee, donuts, and warm meals, as well as emotional and spiritual care to those affected by today’s storms.”

Feeding units will be deployed to Magee, prepared to serve throughout the day and into the night.
