HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The trial of a mount olive man accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl began Wednesday.

Jury selection was completed and the trial began in Covington County for Delvarin Jarrod Milloy.

Milloy, a former Mount Olive Attendance Center teacher and coach, was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery in the summer of 2008.

Prosecutors said Milloy had two sexual encounters with an 8th grade student in 2005.

Milloy has since been out on bond.
