Southeast Mississippi Legal Services Corporation

Southeast Mississippi Legal Services Corporation has been awarded a grant from the Mississippi Department of Human Services to provide free legal services to current and former TANF recipients and low income working families with dependent children (income at or below the 200% federal poverty level). The grant funds assistance with removing legal barriers to employment, eliminating consumer problems, helping protect employment rights, assisting with issues that interfere with job, attendance and retention, providing training on employer, and employee rights and responsibilities.
