BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The Shaw Group Inc. has been awarded a 5-year, worldwide environmental services contract with the federal government.
Baton Rouge-based Shaw said it will provide munitions removal and environmental compliance services for the Defense Department. The contract is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' engineering and support center in Huntsville, Ala.
Shaw is 1 of 8 companies selected to compete on task orders with a maximum contract value of $945 million, if all options are exercised, through 2014.
