Suspect sought in slaying surrenders

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 41-year-old Baton Rouge man suspected of shooting a man to death after an argument inside a nightclub has surrendered to police.

Willie Dunn is accused of shooting 36-year-old Petra Jones in the head in the parking lot of The Dancers Club around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Dunn fled before police arrived, but surrendered later that night. He was booked with second-degree murder and is being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish jail on a $510,000 bond.

Jones was pronounced dead at LSU Earl K. Long Medical Center.
