WDAM - Channel 7 - Serving Hattiesburg, Laurel and the Pine BeltJones County firefighters battle several fires

SOSO, MS (WDAM) Firefighters from District-1 in Jones County spent Thanksgiving day battling 4 separate structure fires.
An early morning mobile home fire in the Hebron Community was contained quickly and only caused minor damage. Two other fires in the Hebron Community also caused minor damage to the homes. A 4th fire on Shady School Road in Soso caused significant damage to the home.
Only 1 injury was reported from the 4 fires. A man received 1st and 2nd degree burns over most of his body from a grease fire, but declined to go to the hospital.
There have been a total of 8 structure fires in this district since Tuesday.
