PEARL, Miss. (AP) - A judge in central Mississippi has set bond at $250,000 for an Arizona woman accused of carrying grenades, assault rifles and other weapons in her car.

Pearl Police Chief Ben Schuler says 37-year-old Christopher Quezada of Phoenix waived a preliminary hearing Thursday and the bond was set. The Clarion-Ledger reports Quezada remained in the Rankin County jail.

Quezada was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and criminal conspiracy.

She was pulled over on Interstate 20 about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say two grenades, three SKS rifles, several hand guns and ammunition were found in the Volvo sedan. All have been turned over to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Police say she did not have permits for any of the weapons.
