TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Police say a Lee County man has been charged with killing another man's dogs during a dispute.
Randle L. Aaron is also charged with telephone harassment and burglary related to an ongoing dispute with another man.
Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson said Aaron went to the home of a man with whom he was having an ongoing dispute.
Johnson said the man wasn't home so Aaron allegedly shot and killed 2 of the man's dogs.
The 41-year-old Aaron was arrested this past weekend. He was released Tuesday on a $20,000 bond.
Jail officials said it's unclear from booking records if Aaron has hired a lawyer. A telephone listing for Aaron couldn't immediately be located.
